1. Introduction
Shattered Moon Games LLC respects your and your child’s privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
2. Free Plan – No Child Personal Information Collected
When you create an anonymous child profile (“Child 1”, “Child 2”, etc.) on the free plan, we collect zero personal information about the child. The profile exists only as an internal identifier linked to your parent account.
3. Paid Plan – Limited Child Information Collected Only After Verifiable Parental Consent
We begin collecting any information about a child only after you:
(a) purchase a paid subscription via Stripe, and
(b) explicitly affirm you are the parent/legal guardian and consent.
At that point we collect and store:
- Display name chosen by the parent
- Optional avatar/image uploaded by the parent
- Skills, levels, XP, and reward data created by the parent or child
- Reward suggestions submitted by the child (text and optional image/URL)
We do not collect or store:
- Child’s legal name (unless you voluntarily use it as the display name)
- Email address assigned to the child
- Date of birth, age, physical address, location, phone number, government ID, or payment information
4. Information We Always Collect (Parent Account)
- Google profile ID (or email address if using email/"magic link" login)
- Parent display name and profile picture
- Parent email address
- Subscription status and Stripe customer ID (no full card data)
5. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the Service, and maintain your limited account information that we collect as outlined above.
- To process payments and send transactional emails
- To allow co-parents (if invited) to view the same child profiles
- To comply with legal obligations
6. Sharing & Disclosure
We share child-related information only with:
- An invited co-parent who has been invited by the child's primary account holder that has undergone reasonable verification by way of payment processing and affirmation that they are indeed the child's parent or legal guardian.
- Sub-processors bound by strict confidentiality (specifically our database provider, Neon.tech, and our email service provider, Google via Gmail API)
- Law enforcement or regulators when required to do so by law
We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising or marketing. We do collect any information you share with us for support inquiries via the feedback form in the application's Settings page. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and improve the Service, and is not shared with third parties except as described above.
7. Data Storage & International Transfers
Data is stored in the United States. By using the Service from the EU/UK/EEA, you consent to this transfer under Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Children’s Privacy & COPPA Compliance
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, which we obtain via paid subscription + explicit consent checkbox.
- For EU/UK residents, we rely on parental consent for children under the applicable digital age of consent (13–16 depending on country).
- Parents may review, correct, or delete their child’s data at any time.
9. Your Rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data and your child’s data at any time via Settings or by emailing privacy@skillbrynth.com. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.

We use industry-standard encryption, access controls, and secure development practices.
