1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Skillbrynth (the “Service”), operated by Shattered Moon Games LLC (“we,” “us,” “Company”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you create or personalize a child profile, you represent and warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child.

2. Description of Service
Skillbrynth is a private gamification tool that allows parents to track skills, assign experience points, set levels, and define rewards for their children. It is for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Free Plan – Anonymous Child Profiles
On the free plan you may create one or more anonymous child profiles (e.g., “Child 1”). No personal information about the child is collected or stored at this stage. These profiles are identified only by an internal identifier tied to your parent account.

4. Paid Plans – Personalization and Child Dashboard
To personalize a child profile (add a name, avatar, or enable the child-facing dashboard), you must purchase a paid subscription and explicitly provide verifiable parental consent. By completing payment and checking the consent box, you affirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian and consent to the limited collection and use of the child’s information described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions & Payment

  • Plans: monthly or annual, per-child or per-family.
  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full payment card details.
  • Gift subscriptions may be issued at Company’s sole discretion.
  • Cancellation anytime; no refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

6. User Content
Parents and children may submit reward suggestions, names, descriptions, URLs, and images. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display this content solely to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring all content is appropriate and lawful. We do not actively moderate content that is not directly provided by us. We do not store any user-provided images locally within our servers or databases. Profile images are fetched via URL from third-party services (e.g., Google) and are not retained by us beyond what is necessary to provide the Service. Parents and children must not upload or submit any content that violates laws or third-party rights.

7. Child Login (Paid Plans Only)
Children may log in only after a paid subscription and verifiable parental consent have been provided. Child logins on paid accounts use the same Google OAuth or email credentials as the parent account specified for that child, but display only the child’s assigned profile.

8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to:

  1. harm minors
  2. violate laws in your jurisdiction
  3. Upload malicious content
  4. Violate third-party rights.

9. Data Deletion
Parents may permanently delete their account and all associated child profiles at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We will erase or anonymize the data within 30 days, subject only to legal retention requirements.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE MAKE NO CLAIMS THAT IT WILL IMPROVE ACADEMIC, PROFESSIONAL, OR ANY REAL-WORLD OUTCOMES. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law
State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflicts of law.

12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice.
